Sun & Sea Breeze

Mum passed away late September 2006...peacefully in the late hours of the evening. She was few months short of her 80th birthday, which is today:) Mum was the youngest in her family. Her parents had her late in life, so I was told. She was really raised by her eldest sisters, and in her teens was sent to boarding school ...I don't think she really liked it, but had to endure it I would imagine. Her parents had a very outgoing and social life, by the time she was born, they didn't really have room to look after another toddler in between lunches commitments and dinners parties, so she had lots of  family carers/housekeepers looking after her in her childhood years!...She also had her brother, only couple of years older than her to play with and I can imagine her, during those formative years, getting so attached and reliant on her siblings' tightly knit loving bond, making her feel so protected and special:) Sifting through old pictures as, my sister and I, were clearin

My youngest daughter Nina is staying with us for few weeks. She did her MSc. in Organisational Psychology and graduated last year from Manchester uni (UK) We're all so proud and happy for her great achievements, with no doubt more to come:) She's been on a long exploration journey of discovery...Traveled with couple of her friends to the Far East (Tokyo, Vietnam, Malaysia, Hong Kong & Berma) Also took advantage of covering some distance to visit New Zealand and Australia. Made lots of friends and learnt a lot about other cultures, all sorts of people, and more humbling ways of living. Now she's back positively changed and energized to start her career, a new phase in her life and do more for herself and for others:)   

My third attempt at starting this blog!!...I think I'm getting the hang of it finally!:)
